In the UK they think animals don't have feelings or feel pain or emotions. In the US there's an idiot president who lifted the ban to kill elephants. Back to the dark Ages again? Where everything was permitted just as long as it benifitted the human beings?
We can learn more from animals than they learn from us. Humans are the beasts among the animals. If we treated every man like we treat the animals mankind would be extinct a long time ago!
